It's tough when your husband who its 5 inches higher now weighs 6 pounds less....

My new goal is 130. I want to see that scale say that even if there are .... after it.
So far my lowest was 131. no ....
Today 132...

Ben however was 125 and said ... oh I'm up a bit to 127 today.

What?  It's tough not to see this process as a competition, but I'm feeling VERY good and proud of where I am right now. My size 8 jeans are a bit big. (wow) but I won't by any more this season and just wear a belt. I am practically living in tights and stretch pants. They look awesome and fit no matter if I'm up or down a few pounds.

The huge difference between how I used to look (and feel ) is that now I wear tight tops!
Form fitting clothes show off the slim curves and flatter stomach. I really feel amazing. and I want to say this way,

Am I starving myself. NO. I am eating a lot including fruit and carbs (in moderation). I have dessert every night (maybe a bit too much) but because I make the desserts I know exactly what is in them and how many calories are in each. Black Bean brownies are awesome as are the coconut almond balls. I make double batches of most food now, I freeze some and keep some for a meal the second day. I make peanut butter oat bars for when we are in a hurry and need to grab and go. They are delicious... but 150 calories each. Ben has been eating at least 2 a day and STILL he's not gaining anything.

So - my thought is:
Let the scale go up and down, it will anyway.
Let your partner handle their own diet journey.
And when you finally reach that point where the person in the mirror is exactly what you always thought of yourself on the INSIDE be HAPPY.

And it's ok to cheat and eat what you are craving (pizza at baja pizza fish....I need some stat). You can't diet 24/7.

Let me know how you are doing with your weight loss!
